I don't know if it's just me or what, but today I've seen a whole invasion of triangles and pyramids in designs / motion graphics... with a taste of 70's~80s Dark Side of the Moon cover look...
for instance just take a look on that magazine : http://reformrevolution.com/ - you'll spot around 4 designs based heavily on triangles, one of them being Dior.
