Miguel Calderón is a Mexican artist, actor, and writer. His work titled "Aggressively Mediocre/Mentally Challenged/Fantasy Island (circle one)" was part of a 1998 exhibit and was bought by Wes Anderson for the film The Royal Tenenbaums. His work goes for about $12,000 a piece, but well worth it.
I was unable to find anything on the web about him other than this site. If you know of any other places to find his work, or upcoming exhibits, please comment!

I gave a presentation/lecture on this guy for an art history class in 2004 (called "Art Now")... Even going through a lot of the art press, there's not a lot about him written in English.
